Utila School Marching Band

Independence Day in Utila, Honduras is a big event with a parade and marching bands. My daughter's band is asking for help with donations for their uniforms and for
their trainer.
The whole event will cost about $3000 or more. However, we the parents, are raising money and doing bake sales, food sales, used clothes sales, etc., to make up the rest of the funds. We are just asking for help with $1500 to outfit the 35 kids from 5th grade and up, and help pay for their trainer's expenses.
On a small island, there aren't many organized activities for the children, or sporting clubs. This event makes the kids work so hard towards a common goal, teaches them discipline and teamwork. They are practicing up to midnight sometimes, and 6-8 hours a day. The children attend school from 7am to 3pm and still have the energy and will to perform like superstars.
Take a look at last year's video and see if you can help out. Every dollar counts, and we are more than grateful for $1 donation. It will all add up!
