Chance deserves a 'chance' at a loving, well cared for life!
He has had neither so far and we are working to change this! Chance was found as an emaciated stray, heartworm positive with fleas and ticks. The ticks caused him to be positive for Lymes disease.
He came to our rescue on 8/2/16, a dirty, stinky mess of a dog with ticks in his ears and fleas. We cleaned him up and the picture posted is of him after his bath. He cleans up great! He was so good and patient during his bath. Even as we picked at his skin to get the ticks off and wash the blood away, he stood, calmly looking at us. He knew he was being helped.
This poor boy is probably around 7 yrs old. He is being treated for Lymes disease for the next month and then he will have to undergo heartworm treatment. He will be fighting for his life, right along with us!
This guy deserves the best in life and we will make sure he gets it. He is handsome, sweet, gentle and kind. You couldn't ask for a better dog.
Please help us give him the care he so deserves and needs. Any amount will help!
