My name is Sean McCarthy and I am asking you to help a classmate who currently is living inside of her car pictured in the title.
Her name is Brenda Brown and she is 54. She is a Communications student here at California State East Bay and is in need of help. Eight years ago, Brenda was working as an Administrative Assistant for a subcontractor firm but the recession forced her employers to lay her off.
She went on unemployment from that point on but she could not find a job and the unemployment ran out.
She then decided to go back to school to get her education. She is working hard to finish but it has been difficult because she is living in her small car and has no family to speak of to help her out of her situation.
So, I am asking you, please spare some money to help her cause. I hope to fund enough to pay for an apartment that she can share with a room mate for at least the next few months. This money will go a long way to changing a life and helping a hard working woman sleep in a real bed.
