Jimmy's run for the MD SPCA

I am going to be running the Baltimore Half Marathon this October to raise money for the MD SPCA.

All donations will go DIRECTLY to the MD SPCA  and will be used to help  the homeless animals in the area. 

We are going to run this campaign through the Saturday after the race, October 22, 2016.

I'm doing this for a few reasons:

1) I know there are a lot of my friends who love animals and I want to use this opportunity to support the homeless animals in the area.

2) Most of you know I am runner and every race season I try to raise awareness for a charity. This year, a close friend of mine suggested that I try getting in touch with the MD SPCA about the idea. After about 2-3 weeks, through many emails and a meeting, we were able to put this team together. 

3.) Having had a dog and seeing friends with different pets, I realized they really become a family member. I would love to see the homeless animals get the opportunity to experience that feeling of being a part of a family as well as the family also having the same experience whether it's their first pet or another pet they want to welcome into their family. 

If anyone can or wants to donate, it is greatly appreciated by me but more importantly, it'll mean so much more to the MD SPCA and the homeless animals in the area.
