Melody Hall Voice Scholarship

Donation protected
The Melody Claire Hall Voice Scholarship has been established by SoCo Women's Chorus  (www.socowomenschorus.org ) to give
a high school senior woman, aspiring to major in the area of vocal music (music education, choral music, vocal performance, etc.), funding for her college education.

Our first scholarship will be given out next spring (May 2017), which will coincide with our 5th Anniversary Concert, 5.

Because SoCo Women's Chorus is a 501c3 organization, all donations are tax deductible.

About Melody Claire Hall
Melody is the oldest child of Founder & Artistic Director Janey Hall.

She was tragically killed in a car accident in 1996 at the age of 16. Melody was a musician ~ both singer and flautist ~ in her high school. Her hobbies included reading, art and the culinary arts. Her dream was to become a teacher and she was planning on attending the University of North Texas in Denton.

The idea of naming this scholarship was the idea of the first primary donor of this scholarship, Susan Dubois, and Ms. Hall is humbled and honored to know that Melody will be remembered in this manner.
