My name is Tracy; I’m the Occupational Therapist at Quarryfields Nursing Home for adults who have a Learning Disability & Mental Health conditions. We are part of a 'for profit' company called Exemplar Healthcare.
Every year we take our service users on holiday funded by our parent company, however we want to give them an experience to remeber by taking a trip to Disneyland Paris next year. We are hard at work fund raising for the extra money to ensure that we are able to do this. We have held a summer fair and have completed a sponsored bike ride which has helped to kick start our funds.
This year I am doing the Tour Du Mont Blanc, (07th -16th August 2016) which is a 105 mile hike around Mont Blanc (4,809m) in the Alps, taking in Switzerland, Italy and France. This is an adventure that I’d like to take advantage of, in aid of helping to raise additional funds.
I, along with our service users and staff would be very grateful for your sponsorship as this will help towards ensuring a successful trip, giving them their own personal adventure.
