Ella's - Building a School in Nepal

I have always been passionate about contributing to the world in a positive way, whether it be through volunteering my time coaching others to get the best out of their lives, or volunteering to encourage people to follow their dreams in design. This time, I want to go outside myself and my own personal life, and use my skills to make a difference in a community that is not as fortunate as mine. My dad, Joe, is joining me for this volunteering trip. My background is interior design and my dad is a builder, so a construction project is where we can both contribute and make a difference with our knowledge and skills.
The project we are volunteering for is based in Sorung Chhabise, Nepal. It is an Education Project building a school in a community that was affected by the 2015 earthquakes. The project is run by an organisation called "This World Exists".
The school will have:
5 x Classrooms
1 x Staff room
A storage facility, toilet and sanitation block
ALL FUNDS RAISED FOR THE PROJECT GO DIRECTLY TO THE PROJECT!!! :)
The funds will assist with local trade's wages, purchasing local building materials, and much more.
We wish to have funds raised by Sunday 4th September 2016.

"This World Exists" run educational volunteer treks in various countries around the world. I met with the founder, Ryan, and was amazined to find such a passionate bunch of people building schools to provide young children the biggest gift of all - an education! Not only do their projects give this gift to the kids, they also help to improve the local community by providing jobs in construction, teaching and much more. TWE aims to inspire and empower communities to take action and help combat the inequalities in our world.
