My name is Nicole Ternowesky, I am a grade 12 student at Vincent Massey High school, Brandon, Manitoba. I am a hardworking and dedicated volunteer to my community. I hold an executive position on my school's student council, I hope to spearhead a support group at my school this coming fall and I am on the youth ministry council at my church. Giving back to my community is very important to me and I try to do that in any way I can.
I am raising money to attend the 2016 Rotary International Zones 24-32 Youth Leadership Conference in Winnipeg, on September 30th 2016. I am very interested in attending this Rotary event where many inspiring individuals will be speaking on Human Rights and sharing their incredible experiences in Humanitarian work. I already have half the money needed to attend, I am fundraising for the balance.
The money donated to my cause will go towards entrance and accommodation fees. Through your donation I will be able to attend this conference where I will gain leadership skills and meet many inspiring indivduals, which will better equip me to serve others locally and one day internationally.
This international conference would change my life and open up many great opportunities for me. I will use everything I learn to continue helping those in need and to truly make a difference in people's lives. By attending this event I take the first steps in hopefully becoming a Rotary member myself and a humanitarian to all.
I would be extremely thankful for your donation and I will not let you down. I have a passion for philanthropy and I know I will always live to serve others. By investing in me you are investing in the lives of so many others whom I wish to touch.
