FUNERAL EXPENSES FOR TOM
I had started a GoFund Me for Thomas Broomhead for his Cancer treatment but i am sad to say he has passed away.
The Broomhead family still needs atleast $10,000.00 for funeral expenses to lay Tom to rest. So we are still taking donations to help them out any way possible.

My name is Jessica and I work for an Attorney in Wareham, MA. We have a client who asked us to help set up a fundraiser for her son.
This story below is written from Tom's mother Shirley.
Thomas Broomhead was born June 6, 1973 and is 43 years old. He has not been feeling well for 8 months or more. He wemt to his primary care physician and told him he was tired all the time. Doctor told him to take D3 and get more rest. He also took Tylenol. Tom had severe headaches and sometimes dizziness. He would lay down after work and was very tired. The headaches were getting worse, and he thought he was having migraines. He was living with his girlfriend and her 2 children.
Tom called me at 8:30 pm one night and whispered, "Help me". I asked who it was because I didn’t recognize his voice being so low. When he told me, my husband and I rushed over to his apartment. Tom could not move or really even talk to us. We called the ambulance ASAP. They checked him out and said he was dying and needed to be taken to the hospital immediately.
At 1:00 am in the morning the hospital called and I spoke with the doctor. He said Tom had a massive brain tumor, a glioblastoma, and as we speak, was being sent to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. We went there that morning and they said the MRI showed a massive tumor and he needed surgery. They put him on steroids and other medications to keep him alive.
The doctor cut open the back and the front of his head so they could get the tumor out. They did not get all of the tumor out due to the massive bleeding of the brain. Pathologist said the it was a very aggressive glioblastoma malignant brain tumor. He needed a lot of care after surgery. Tom could not do anything for himself. He had to try and stand up with the nurses holding him. Also he had to go to Rehab to learn to walk, and speech therapy as well.
NowTom’s tumor has grown back with a vengeance, worse than ever.
He needed surgery again and treatment too. He had surgery on July 28th.
We are elderly parents trying to take care of him. We are trying to make sure he doesn’t fall, get dizzy, or slip into a coma.
We lost our son Mark 2 years ago and we don’t want to lose another child. A mother shouldn’t have to bury her children.
Tom has been in excruciating pain for many months now. This tumor is the deadliest brain cancer imaginable. Tom was given 2 months to live. This cancer came roaring back with a vengence. Tom can’t even eat because the pressure on his brain is so bad, he is nauseated. He has brain fog and crushing fatigue. He has to have invasive surgery again to keep him alive. He doesn’t want to die. He needs treatment to live. He needs to cheat death so he needs everyone to help donate $5.00 or more to save my son Tom. He is worth it. He helps everyone. Thanks to everyone from the bottom of our hearts.
We need $100,000.00 for ongoing medical treatments.
