Our House

My name is Lauren Hamilton Murphy.  The two gorgous children in the photo are the reason I get out of bed every day- Samantha and Desmond.  I am a single mother who bought a house 3 years ago after my husband and I seperated, then divorced.  We live 4 doors away from each other.  This works amazing for the children, as they can see either parent, everyday.  I became unemployed for over a year.  My mortgage company will not work with me to do a modification because the only job I could find is a temporary job. 

 I've changed the goal of this fund from trying to save my house to raising money to help me relocate.  My temporary job will end in a couple of weeks so I do not know what the future holds.  I just know that I can not afford to live in this house going forward.  After losing my job and not being able to secure one for over a year, my work history is not ideal for finding another place to live, and my income is up in the air.  I would like to raise enough money to secure an apartment (first, last and security) and be able to keep my head above water until I can find a permanent job.
