Help this Ex-Marine fight cancer

Please help Joe Roche and his family with expenses related to medical treatment for Joe. Joe, a Marine Corps veteran, was recently diagnosed with myelofibrosis leukopenia thrombocytopenia. He receives social security disability and has Medicare but does not have part B. He applied for benefits with the VA and he has been on a waiting list for 2 years. The type of treatment he needs is unavailable in Abilene and he must travel to Dallas. His treatment consists of blood transfusions, special blood test , meds (chemo) and stem cell replacement. Which requires him and his wife, Janie, to travel to Dallas for his treatment. The medical treatments as well as the traveling expenses have put an added burden on the family's fixed income.

Joe is the rock of his family. He has several grandkids that he helps raise and he wants to be able to continue. Joe is a fighter and he does not give up.
