Help TT Buy A Tuk Tuk!

We are a few young travellers who have made South East Asia our home over the past few years, over that time we have encountered many people in many lines of work that really go out their way to ensure travellers not only have an experience of a life time but also who ensure their safety in new places.

One of these individuals that is very close to our hearts is 'Mr Vuthy Choun' aka TT.

TT for the last 10 years has been driving a Tuk Tuk around Siem Reap, Cambodia, ferrying tourists around the temples for around 9 hours per day, earning only $10. Following this he then heads home to take care of his mother, father, sister and her children. . . and if that wasn't enough he then goes to IT classes in the evening to earn his degree.

With TT now having the same Tuk Tuk for the past 10 years his work is becoming harder for him to do and of course when the inevitable happens (the Tuk Tuk finally falling apart) he will be without an income to support himself and his family!

We're aiming to raise this small amount of money to firstly buy TT a new shiny Tuk Tuk so he can continue working, but also maybe even help him with some of his school fees!

TT has been our dedicated driver now for a long time whenever we pass through Siem Reap. He's a dedicated, genuine young man who is full of passion for his job and country. He's consistently gone above and beyond when driving for us in Siem Reap and has helped us discover new and incredible places each and every time, and we hope with all your help he can continue to do the same for many more backpackers to come!
