Family of 8 Lost Everything in Fire

Donation protected
A family of eight (well, nine if you count the dog) lost everything they had today in a house fire (July 23).  The family consist of the parents, a son who is in college and just home for the summer, a son who will be a senior this year in high school, a sophmore daugther, a middle school son who will be in the seventh grade, and twin daugthers in the fifth grade.  Although they are grateful that no one was hurt, they are extremly saddened by the fact that they have nothing but the clothes on their back.  In addition to the lost today, the mother has been struggling with a medical condition and really hasn't been able to work lately. She is a very strong woman and when I spoke to her, she said, "this is just another bump in the road.  This too shall pass."

I decided to start this fund to assist them in getting back on their feet. They are going to have purchase everything.  The money will be used to assist in housing, clothes, school supplies and furnishing.  If you are able to give, please do so.  However, if you are not, please send a prayer up.  The family has no idea I am setting up this fund but they will definitely be grateful and appreciate it.  They would never ask for help, but it is our responsibilities as citizens to help each other.
