Lawford Scouts AND DofE Diamond

Elaine & I didn't complete our Duke of Edimburgh Awards, however through our involvement with Scouts we've seen the positive affect it has on those who do complete even one of the three awards.

This year being the DofE Award's 60th anniversary the charity has launched a Diamond Challenge to raise money to support the charitable activities. 

So...to raise funds for both the DofE and our Scout troop - Lawford Scouts we decided to canoe 70 miles, over 4 days, sleeping out for 3 nights...."coincidentally" exactly the same requirement as the DofE Gold Award.  Here are some images http://www.lawfordscouts.com/home/sponsorship
