Our friend Joan Gallo is stranded!!
Her motorized wheelchair has broken once again, and is now unrepairable. She can no longer travel around on her own, greeting people and spreading sunshine.
We have been given a quote of $8,082 to purchase a new motorized wheelchair.
As many of you know, Joanie single-handedly raised over $1,500 for Angela's House (a charity for sick children and their families) this past year without the aid of a page like this one. She did it solely with her own determination and use of her motorized wheelchair, which gives her a bit of the freedom that we all take for granted.
Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated. No matter how much or how little.
