Help The Brown Family

We are the Brown Family. Jonah (Dad), Honey (Mom), Elisha, Moses, Malachi, Zion and Hosanna. This has been an extremely challenging month for our family and I would humbly ask if you prayerfully consider helping us get through to next month.
At the beginning of the July we were expecting a small cheque (around $500) that has been delayed until October.
Then my dad had a heart attack and I spent nearly every day camping at the hospital spending as much time with him as possible. They were going to do open heart surgery and 5 bypasses but after a CT and MRI they discovered a brain bleed on the right side and a stroke on the left side. Surgery is postponed until the fall. We are spending time together everyday.
During that week when my dad was sick we closed our little Trim Healthy Mama pickup shop because Jonah stayed home with our 5 kids so I could spend as much time as possible with my dad. This resulted in a loss of income for us. Jonah and the kids also made the trip to the hospital to visit a few times.
The day after my dad got out of the hospital Jonah had his driving test (we let our driver’s licenses lapse too long when we didn’t have a vehicle which put us through a long renewal process) and he passed. He picked up our used van that we bought a few months ago and paid for a few months of insurance. Then he filled the van with gas.
Yesterday morning I got a letter saying that a cheque we were expecting (around $2500) would not be coming this month, but would be delayed until the end of August.
I deal with chronic pain and when there is added stress that pain increases. When I woke up yesterday morning I hurt already. I am currently dealing with a variety of pain related issues including postherpetic neuralgia on my right side as well as ear, neck and head pain (from an unknown cause). I was already in a pain flare before I got the stressful news that we would have to make up this shortfall of money.
I hate the thought of putting this all out there and even considering asking strangers for help, but I am at a loss as to what else to do. We depleted our savings with expenses this month and we have about 10 days to make up this shortfall in our income and folks we need a crazy miracle.
Any money raised will be used for rent, monthly living expenses, food, gas, and the other basic expenses of raising a family. If money is donated over and above the requested amount we will prayerfully consider how best to spend it for the maximum benefit to our family.
