I have been a care giver all of my adult life as a Nurse. Now I find myself in a situation where I need care.
A routine dignostic proceedure has left me injured and unable to work to support myself or pay medical expenses. This is the first time I have been in this postion and find it very frightening.
A routine colonoscopy punctured several holes in my sigmoid colon( lower bowel), after 4 days I became very ill and was septic ( systemic infection) and had to return to the hospital for 12 days. I don't remember much of the first five days in the hospital.
The doctors are telling me the holes are too large to heal on their own and I will need surgery, and a colostomy.
I am receiving strong IV antibiotics every day to keep me alive. I am weak with no energy and in constant pain.
This leaves me unable to work. My mortgage is now past due and I do not have enough money to pay it. Please help me avoid foreclosure so I won't lose my home at this crucial time in my life.
I have never asked for help before in my life, yet I need help desperately. Any Help given will be appreciated to get me through this difficult time in my life. Funds will be used to pay house payment, utilities, and medical bills.
My prayers are that I live through this situation and return to a reasonable normal life. To receive help would mean most of all not becoming homeless at this time . From my heart I thank you and pray for goodness in this world. I believe God will answer my prayers and provide for me.
