Taylor's Dominican Republic GLA Trip

For my Senior Project I am raising money to go to the Dominican Republic. I will be spending 10 days in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic where I will teach native children english as they teach me spanish and help install water filteration systems, along with rebuilding a school out of recycled bottles and visiting an orphanage. Also I will head to the Haitian resettlement villages to brighten their lives and assist in the development of agriculture and reforestation. The program also offers seminars on environmental sustainability which I will be attending. As a bit of environmental adventure, we will hike to see waterfalls. This trip is not only important as my Senior Project, but, because I am considering joining the Peace Corps, it is important as an experience towards my future.
