Hi! My name is Kaylee Helmick and it’s my favorite time of year....preparing for the upcoming Miss Maine Teen USA Pageant! As of today I have been selected as an official state finalist and I couldn't be more excited. This pageant is an amazing opportunity for me, but I cannot accomplish this on my own therefore I am asking you for your support.
Altogether I would like to raise a total of $1,750. This total includes the pageant fee ($1,295) and the remainder will go toward require wardrobe, for different portions of the pageant.
About me:
*I competed in my first pageant Miss Maine Teen USA 2016 and placed in the top 10.
*I am a senior at Deering High School. I have received an Academic letter and I will be looking forward to taking a college course as a high school student.
*I am a sports fanatic! I have been playing softball for the past 10 years. My favorite sport is volleyball, I’ve been playing for 2 years and last year was named second team in the state of Maine.
*I spend my weekends working as a birthday host at Jokers.
*I would like to go to college for nursing and I hope that this career can take me around the world so I can help others.
If I happen to be crowned Miss Maine Teen USA 2017 I would be representing Maine in the national pageant, Miss Teen USA. Also during my reign I would be fundraising for the community and various charities, making appearances, among many other life changing experiences.
Competing last year in the Miss Maine Teen USA pageant was a life changing opportunity! With your generosity I will be able to compete once again and hopefully be your next Miss Maine Teen USA! Thank you for your support! –Kaylee
