Pain In Silence, Hearing aids fund

Hello my name is Vincent Cottrill. I’m a 52 year old tactical systems communicator Army Veteran currently working as an IT Tech at Good Shepherd Healthcare System, married to my High school sweetheart Colleen, proud father to my daughter Ashley, and owner of three Rottweilers, Rocco, Zena, and Havoc.
Hoo Ahh! Injured while serving the US Army I was medically discharged in 1984. During my service I worked in around a great deal of heavy equipment which is common for the industry still today. Often times this can lead to hearing loss and I am not an exception. Today I am asking for your support and help as I try to overcome the steady decline in hearing and the impact it has had on my life.
My hearing decline was subtle at first so much so that I didn’t even give it much thought. Eventually after years of repeating, “What?” “Huh?” “I’m sorry I can’t hear you” I realized I had a problem.
Today I have hope, after visiting a hearing aid specialist about a month ago, I was fitted with a sample pair of hearing aids. For the first time in many years, I wasn’t straining to hear conversations. I was surprised at all the noises I had been missing, like my dogs walking on our wood floor.
At 52 my world had new life.
The cost to contribute to my cause? $Whatever you can afford
The total cost of my hearing aids after insurance? $4998.00
The joy of hearing again after so many silent years? Priceless
My sincere thanks and appreciation to any and all contributions big or small,
Vince
Thank you,
