Medical and Transportation Needs.

I have never asked or needed help, but life has a way of throwing problems at you. If it comes at you a little at a time it can be dealt with somewhat as it comes, but right now it's coming all at once. It's the times when it comes all at once that takes you down. My wife and I only have SS as income. We had to use our retirement for medical costs.
First thing was being forced off the
road and bouncing over the curb hard. All I know about the other car is it was silver. Since the driver didn't stop that's all I know about the car and driver. I checked for damage and at the time there was damage on the front bumper. I wasn't hurt and figured that if that was all I considered myself lucky. Later I noticed that the steering wasn't right. The shop I took it to said I had a bent strut and a bent rear axle and they couldn't align it and it was a fraction out. Well I drove it until the rear tires wore out, which happened fast. I submitted a claim to the insurance and they are taking care of it but I have to pay $500, plus get new tires. I also have to rent a car until mine is fixed and how long depends on what needs to be replaced and how long it takes to get the parts. Up to now it is doable but hard on us getting the money together.
The next thing is on our motor home that we live in. Our son lived in it for a year. While he had it there was some damage that we found out about after we moved back in. It will cost $2200 to repair.
While all this is going on I found out that i fell into the donut hole, which means I now pay full prices for my prescriptions until my out of pocket costs hit $4500. This means that I can't afford some of my medication.
Also a friend has no electricity and needs help with cost in the installation of the electric breaker box. I told her we would help.
So. As hard as it is to ask for help, I'm asking for help to get us over this rough spot. Whatever you can do will help.
