HELP Disabled Bus Users Fight Fund

BUS FIGHT - SANDBAG
We are a group of Disabled and Elderly Perth pensioners locked in a legal fight to save a bus route many of us have used for 50 years. We are taking on the Public Transport Authority because the change would mean some have to walk almost a KILOMETRE to get to public transport! (Before this everyone in Mt Hawthorn and Glendalough was no more than 300m away).
We formed the Seniors ANd Disabled Bus Action Group over a year ago in response. We managed to get Transperth (PTA) to put in a "temporary fix" bus route 14, which was a help, but they took it away recently.
We need YOUR Help for the legal battle.
One of our group, Eugenia Krysiak, has already taken on the PTA with a human rights complaint. This disabled 89-year-old lady tried to get an injunction to stop the PTA taking route 14 from us. Sadly, she failed and now not only has to use taxis but has been hit with massive legal costs from government lawyers.

This is also affecting many other mobility disabled and senior people (some of whom no longer get out), and the other route 15 users, and has cut one part of the community off from the other.
