Kathryn's volunteer trip - refugees

I’m Kathryn and I hope you can help me.
I’m currently raising funds to volunteer in Greece with refugee families. For those who know me I have always worked with children, young people and families. This work has shaped my life both professionally and voluntary.
More recently, due to the events in the world I have been encouraged to think 'outside the box' and take action more directly. This included thinking about my wider sense of community.  
My determination has been fuelled by some of the greats; Martin Luther King once quoted ‘what are you doing for others’?  
So, with my rucksack at the ready I have been given an opportunity to volunteer within refugee camps in Thessaloniki. Life on these camps are grim, many still struggling for survival.  Many with untold stories.
The reason I am asking for your support is to assist me with some costs to do with my own undertaking of the trip but also to provide any items that might be used therapeutically.
All expenses will be accounted for at the end of the trip.
