Inchgarth community centre is pleading with you to support a range of VITAL services that we provide for some of the community's and cities most vulnerable people.
We are seeking your generous and kind support for our work with adults with learning and physical disabilities where Inchgarth raises money to provide learning and social opportunities for these groups. This includes trips, art classes, social clubs, weekly entertainment, dance, equipment and special treats.
The disabled people have such little funds and life has already thrown them a bad card, Inchgarth works hard to ensure they have something positive and fun to look forward to daily. Please help us to continue this work.
We also must raise money to maintain the KIDS PLAYPARK at the cost of £1000 per year which covers the fortnightly safety checks we must adhere to by law. This is a vital space for lots of local children and we need your help to cover these costs. There are children who truly rely on this space which keeps them safe.
PANTO...Every year, when we managed to raise funds, we take 120 children, pensioners and disabled people to the panto as a treat and something to look forward to.
This costs us some £1700 which includes entry fee, ice cream and the coach hire. This is for individuals and families who often couldn't afford that special occasion at Christmas. We are struggling to raise funds for this and everything else we do, please consider donating to put a smile on their faces this Christmas.
OUR WORK WITH THE OLD PEOPLE IN THE SHELTERED COMPLEXES is vital. There are over 200 pensioners living in 5 sheltered complexes, often socially isolated with little or no friends or family where health and money can be the barrier to having a fulfilling life. Inchgarth goes to their complexes and provides entertainment and a fine piece and it makes a massive difference to their lives, it really does. Could you help by making a small donation?
For all of the above any small amount really does make a massive difference to the lives of those who need us the most. This is an all year round fundraising effort.
