Meetup Boat Club Membership!

So our meetup just had our One Year Anniversary party which took place on a dinner cruise on the water and it was a blast. I realized that we need to get the meetup involved with more boating action seeing how we live in beautiful Florida, so I started looking into boat club memberships for the meetup.
I found a membership that would work well. I talked to Freedom boat club and they have a membership with an upfront cost of $5000 and a monthly fee of $550. We are asking that the meetup helps contribute to the $5,000 and then we would be happy to take care of the monthly fees. The crazy thing is we have almost 1200 people in the meetup currently, if everyone donated $4.15 we would reach our goal and have access to their entire fleet of boats. They have 4 different locations in Pinellas with hundreds of different boats to choose from.
Let me tell you a little about the membership - It would allow both me and Ryan to share the membership and take out boats all the time. Between us we plan on taking the boats out atleast twice a week and inviting the meetup group to come with. Also if reservations allow, we will be able to take out two boats at the same time and have some awesome meetups on the water, swimming, drinking, island hopping, meeting other people on boats, you know all that fun stuff that comes with being on a boat.
We're always looking to improve the meetup and I think this is going to be an awesome addition to all our fun events. Any donation no matter how small will be appreciated. Can't wait to get out on the water!
