London Screenwriters Festival

I'm a screenwriter from Hastings, East Sussex and I am trying hard to raise money so that I can attend the London Screenwriters Festival this year. The festival is a fantastic opportunity to meet other writers, network with producers and learn TONS. At this stage in what I hope will become a career, attending would be a really valuable experience. But it's a lot of money.
I've always loved writing and the movies. I've written stuff in the past and have got close to success - I had a sitcom in development with a big production company, I did some stand up for the BBC, I wrote for a couple of magazines - but it never really took off. Then I got married and became a mum and my daughter (my most amazing creation) took centre stage.
But now - I'M BACK! My daughter's older and I've finally got some time for myself. I've been writing and working and improving my craft, and it's starting to pay off. A recent sci-fi screenplay of mine got through to the top 8% of a BBC Writers' Room, and that same screenplay is currently being read by two LA production companies. And I think the last two scripts I completed are even better.
Writing is my passion. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it, but I can no more stop writing than I can stop breathing. I think I have what it takes to forge a successful career as a screenwriter, but it's a tough industry to break into and any opportunity to meet people and learn from the professionals is not to be missed.
I had hoped to get there under my own steam, but I need help. I have had trouble finding work - I lived overseas until two years ago, and have been out of the UK job market - but have managed to get a part time cleaning job. I'm also trying to get work as a proofreader and editor. And I've nothing left to eBay!
Tickets cost £295 (before the end of April) or £348 after that. Any help towards the cost would be gratefully accepted. And if I ever do get my stories onto the big screen, you'll be able to bask in the glow that you helped that happen!
