Standing Pitch Brewing Company

This is Atlanta's first distribution brewpub. What that means: In the state of Georgia you can distribute up to 5,000 barrels of beer off premises. This law did not come into play until 2012 when most of Atlanta's brewpubs were already opened. This will allow us to be the first brewpub designed with enough space to run a small distribution out of the brewery as well as running a restaurant/taproom. Consider this a hybrid brewpub. We will be located in West End Atlanta right on the South Beltline. Our distribution will play a huge role in establishing our brand to our local retail customers that offer craft beer in their metro Atlanta area market. We will then invite the craft beer drinker to our house where they can enjoy a delicious meal and try our original core lineup with some taproom-only specials. We plan to focus on IPAs and sours, although we love to appreciate all styles and offer a wide variety of beer for every beer lover. We plan to have a very exciting menu with locally sourced ingredients. Our food truck-style menu will bring a whole new level to the craft beer dining experience. As the Beltline grows, we grow with it. In time this will be a very successful business in terms of both the in-house restaurant and outside distribution. With these funds, we will be able to move on with signing our lease, which will allow us to order our brewing equipment. The south section of this area of the Beltline will finish in 2016. We plan to open our doors in 2017. By 2018, we will be up and running with our distribution at the same time the South sections of both the East and West ends of the Beltline will be connected. Standing Pitch brewing will then be connected through the Beltline to 45 neighborhoods in metro Atlanta.  With your donation we will be able to move forwad with signing our lease and getting our equipment ordered! This is my lifes dream becoming a reality!
