Midwife Elizabeth Davis has offered me an amazing opportunity! She has offered me a 50% discount on her respected and amazing Midwifery Education program!
This is truly a gift from heaven, many of you know of the pain I have been processing due to the loss of my beloved teacher, Selena Green, when circumstances made it necessary for her to move her practice to Hawaii. This offer allows me to resume my midwifery education with another respected and powerful midwife - I am grateful and overcome with this possibility and I need your help to make it happen.
As you know, my work here in the Bay Area is open to all families but focuses on families who are low income. My ultimate dream is to be able to offer not only the best doula training in the East Bay but to also create a conduit to allow more Bay Area women and especially women of color to pursue a CPM and serve their community as a certified professional midwives.
This training will be a huge first step in resuming my training and it will also allow me to complete the requirements necessary per our most recent Midwifery law to work as a midwives assistant, and perhaps allow me to earn, even more income and with my financial needs met I extend more low fee services to even more families who have financial need..

Aboout me: Samsarah Morgan is a doula, childbirth, parenting educator and student midwife with over 35 years experience .
Her practice is Nia Healing Center for Birth and Family Life in Oakland, CA, She is also the founder and Executive Director of Oakland Better Birth Foundation, and Shiphrahs Circle Community Doula Program. Her goal is to reduce infant and maternal mortality in the African American community, by providing information, education, and support to women and their families as well as providing access to doula care , childbirth and lactation education to all families regardless of their ability to pay.
