David and I are so excited to announce that we are growing our family! We feel that God has placed adoption on our heart and we are excited to be walking through the process with our family and friends as we wait for the little babe to join us soon! We are adopting domestically from anywhere in the United States. We beleive that God has a child chosen for us, a child chosen to be Nellie's sibling and we are not putting any peramiters on race, gender or location.
It is very important to me that the mother of our child is very taken care of. Because of this we chose an agency that allows us to financially support the mother during her pregnancy by paying for living expenses, medical bills and counseling services. This is what your money is going towards in our adoption, making sure this mother is as blessed and supported as she can be while going through an unthinkable time in her life.
As many of you know we lost our daughter Nellie May Goodness Baker this past spring. We are excited to be starting the DO GOOD. campaign in her honor as we share her story of goodness in this world. We are learning to look for the goodness of the Lord in the people and places around us, even on the darkest of days their is light and many times that light comes from each of you and the good you are doing.
