Hello friends and family members,
My name is Amelia Foster, I am a senior in high school this year and I have been nominated to attend The National Youth Leadership Forum: National Security, Diplomacy, Intelligence and Defense. I would really like to attend this forum in orderto better my leadership skills and share what I learned with others.
I need to raise the $1,895.00 in a short period of time in order to attend this training forum in Washington D.C. My goal is to take this experience of a life time and learn from it, grow in my leadership skills and share my experience with my JROTC unit and fellow High School students upon return. I need to raise these funds by the end of this month (July 2016). I realize the task at hand is difficult but I am up for the challenge and looking at this as an opportunity to take charge, ask for help and pursue my dream. This experience means the world to me and my family simply can not afford the fees associated with this event. If Iam able to raise the funds to attend this event I will learn what true leadership means, experience speakers that will focus on diplomacy, National Security and intelligence as well as hear from top policy makers and experts in a variety of our Nations pivotal institution's such as: foreign embassies, policy centers and military facilities.. This forum is limited to a select amount of students and those nominated are the only ones invited to attend. If there is anything that you could donate it would be greatly appreciated. Every bit helps, and while I realize this is short notice I need your help and believe that with hard work and effort we can achieve this goal.
