I am stepping out into the unknown, I have recently committed 2 years to YWAM Honolulu coming on board as staff. Starting in September 2016 I have been given the opportunity staff their DTS (discipleship training school). This fall I will be starting off as support staff which means I get the priviledge of pouring into students lives, encouraging, and guiding them in their journey to grow closer to God; we are not only helping them to find their idetity in christ but stirring their hearts for the nations.
I will not be going on outreach this quarter, but I will be apart of the 3 month lecture phase assisting with the preperation of outreach. During this time I will be in training to lead a team in the near future to South Pacific Asia. I will be teaching the inductive method of bible study with the students ensuring that the students fully understand the context of scripture, learning how to study the word for themselves, and apply it to life today.
This is not a job where I get paid, this is completely voluntary. To be able to live I will need to bring in about $500 a month which covers all living exspenses (housing, food, phone, etc). If I am so humbly to ask for support whether it be a one time donation, monthly, prayfully, or however you feel the Lord is leading you. I have set my goal at $1 because I do not have a specific goal and I am greatful for any kind of support I recieve.
Keep in mind that gofundme does take a percentage out of all donations. You can also give through directly sending support to the YWAM Honolulu base.
