This account has been setup to assist my family, the Pellerin Family, with medical and funeral expenses after the unexpected loss of our brother, son, nephew, grandson, friend, Daniel Luke Pellerin.  Daniel was 15 years old and such an amazing blessing to our family. Daniel enjoyed pretty much anything sports, especially basketball. He always made good grades and was rewarded by money from my dad for this. Daniel would in return take his money and donate it to the church instead of using it for materialistic wants. He was so incredibly humble for his age.  After many many prayers and guidance from God our Father, our family made the decision to allow Daniel to be a gift of life and hope to others through organ donation.  Words cannot even explain how amazing the support and prayers have been over this journey.

The money donated will be given directly to my parents for medical and funeral expenses. This is an unbelievebly hard time and we are hoping to alleviate at least the financial costs for them.

I know any way you can help will be greatly apreciated  by my family during their time of loss. Thank you and God bless you and your family for your help.

First, I want to thank everyone that contributed towards this fund for my parents! The amount of love and support that has been shown for my family the last couple of weeks has been amazing. Second order of business is getting the funds to my parents. I, John and Brenda's daughter and Daniel's biological sister, will be withdrawing the funds for them. My bank will then issue my parents a cashier's check. Gofundme requires me to let those who contributed know. My dad (the beneficiary) and I decided on going this route for tax purposes so he is aware of every step that is being taken with the funds. In the end the total amount will be in their hands to cover the funeral expenses and any lingering medical expenses that were incurred during Daniel's hospital stay. I wanted to let everyone know as well that we ended up turning off donations because the medical expenses will be less than we expected but the total raised is enough to cover the whole funeral as well as medical. Thank you again to everyone who contributed and God bless!

Dear Family & Friends, Daniel's organs were recovered this afternoon beginning at 4:00 pm. I would like to share with you words from Daniel's brother-in-law, Rodney Jones, written at 4:08 pm today - We just prayed over his body and released him into surgery. One major loss = Seven miracles from God. 7 families will now be able to spend the rest of their lives with their children from the sacrifice of one young man. Daniel chose this surgery and maybe this was his calling from our great Lord and Savior. One young man has brought more people to their knees than many of us may have in our entire lives so far. I only hope and pray my children will become as strong and heroic as this young man who has affected so many. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support you so generously continue to give. We love you and will see you soon!!!
