Fence for Clinton Peabody Garden

For the past few years, Clinton Peabody residents have spent countless hours building raised beds, cultivating plants from seeds, and tending to their community garden. 

Their efforts have instilled a sense of neighborhood pride, brought generations together and provided healthy vegetables and fruit to many families in the housing complex. 

Unfortunately, the garden continues to be destroyed over and over again by vandals. Nothing we have undertaken to prevent this ongoing issue has proven effective.

Adding a fence around this amazing neighborhood asset within the next few weeks is the only way we can protect it. It is heartbreaking, but I am not allowed to use ward capital funds on federally owned property, so I'm hoping you will donate a few of your own dollars to ensure this space remains a safe, healthy expression of community for some really special residents. 

A local non profit has generouslly committed half the cost of the project and I have pledged to help raise the remaining amount.
