Hello All!
My name is Sharon Arevalo-Greuter and my mom is the amazing Linda Stepaniak.
I'm sure by now that all of you have heard the news. Mom has been diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, which has also caused Malignant Ductal Carcinoma. It is the most aggressive type of breast cancer and usually does not present until it is in the later stages.
That said, we are talking about Linda here. She is a fighter, strong, and stubborn as hell. She will take that cancer and kick it in the ass. She is a Ste-pain-in-the-ass after all! But she can't win the fight alone, she needs a team to support her and she needs financial assistance.
To almost everyone she has ever met, she has been a beacon in their life at one point or another. She has been a port in the storm, a shoulder to cry on, and has made people laugh when they didn't think they had it in them but needed it most.
That being said, she is in need of financial assistance. She does have insurance, but her copays for medicine, chemo, surgery etc. plus living expenses will be more than she can shoulder alone. You are being called on to be her beacon. It takes a village. Between all of us there's no excuse for her to go through any of this alone.
