Beaver Creek Fire Relief Fund

*EDIT* I have been asked by several times, understandably, how I am related to this campaign. My great great grandfather was Burr Lobdell. We own his home Lobdell Ranch off of road 6A. Our cabin was built in 1886 and taken over by Burr in 1902. He lived there, and ran his mining company there. Since then, it has been a summer home, a wedding site, a family home, and a place loved by all of our family. Along side us are cabins of other family members, and people who have been friends of our family for generations. If you have further concerns, please feel free to contact me. We are in close touch with Jackson County Sheriff's department, so they know us, as well as a well documented part of the history of Jackson County. If you are nearby, you can check out the museum for our lineage. Our surname changed from Lobdell to Hunter in the marriage of Blanche Lobdell to my great grandfather Ernest Hunter. My dad is his grandson, Martin Hunter. I hope this helps. I appreciate the concern, as scam artists unfortunately love to take advantage in situations like this. My dad and I will both be on channel 7 news this evening (6/22) and tomorrow morning (6/23), telling more of our story. ***

This fire, started on Sunday, June 19th, has devastated families from all over.

Most of the cabins up there have been there for over a hundred years. They are more than a getaway to these families. MUCH more! They are their history, their lineage, their homes. Many built by ancestors LONG before them. Inside those walls, hold precious memories and keepsakes that are irreplacable! 

Please donate to help those families who lost their entire world in that fire.

We, our children,  and our children's children thank you! No matter how much you donate, EVERY PENNY will go towards helping these families. Any remaining will be donated to North Park Fire Rescue for their hard work and resources.

I will personally be responsible for the funds being dispersed. A check for an equal share will be given to land owners by who have received substantial damage, viewed by me. Or a check will be written out to North Park Fire Rescue.
