Fix Lemon Drop's Eye

This is my foster dog, Lemon Drop.  She is a sweet, loving, kind. and easy-going hound mix. She's one of the many dogs at a local shelter in Hammond, Louisiana. She would make a wonderful addition to almost any family, but one thing is holding her back. It's her eye.  People just aren't interested in adopting a dog who will need expensive surgery very soon.  

We're not sure what happened to her eye. It could have been a birth defect. It could have been punctured when she was a puppy. Any number of things could have happend. What we do know is that it flares up and causes her pain.  Because it continues to flare up and cause her so much pain, it needs to be surgically removed.

Please help Lemon Drop. She's such a wonderful girl.  If by some miracle more than the needed amount is raised, it will all go toward her after care (pain medicine, bandages, etc.) and to meet her needs as my foster dog.
