Lawrence Lake Baseball Field Fund

For many years, the parents and community in Lawrence Township have proudly sponsored and supported our youth baseball program.  Unfortunately, beginning in 2015 we were no longer able to use the baseball field that we had used as our home field in the past.

Afraid our proud baseball tradition would end, a group of parents approached the Lawrence Township board and asked for help.  While the Township is unable to finance the project, the board agrees that is important for the youth in the area to have a field to call their own.  The Township has generously donated the land for the field along with nearly $15,000 in initial excavation.  The Township is supportive of the efforts of our community group to raise funds to get this field built.

Even with many in-kind donations, we still have to raise more funds and we need your help!  Please donate to help us build a field of dreams for our “Lakers” kids.  We will build a field that will be safe for the youth as they develop the skills and sense of sportsmanship that sports offer for this generation, and generations to come!  Thank you!

Lawrence Township is in Itasca County Minnesota.  It is a small family oriented community located north on Scenic Highway 7, off of Highway 169.
