Timothy Lamar Hood, Jr., is a 13 year old boy who is outgoing, even-tempered, and life-loving. His gentle pure heart is full of innocence and kindness.
On Friday, April 15, 2016 at 6:59 pm, his life changed forever. Timothy and two of his friends were walking on a sidewalk near Mayson Turner Road and Joseph E. Boone Boulevard in NW Atlanta when he and his two friends were hit by a car.
Timothy suffered traumatic brain injury, a fractured skull, and has extensive injuries to both of his legs. He is not able to move his feet. He is still in ICU and is unresponsive. Timothy’s life will never be the same – he will require life-long medical and rehabilitation treatment.
Ms. Teresa Lawrence, his mother, has had to devote herself fully to being at the hospital with her son. Meanwhile, she is not able to care for her home or her other children. Timothy’s medical and living expenses will be overwhelming. Timothy’s day-to-day daily treatments, appointments and physical and occupational rehabilitation therapies are catastrophically expensive. While her lawyers, Louis Levenson, Esq. and Angel Cordle, Esq. bring legal claims which could take years, Teresa Lawrence is asking for help.
Timothy’s family is deeply grateful for any financial help that you can offer. The donations/contributions will be delivered directly to Teresa Lawrence, Parent and Natural Guardian of Timothy Lamar Hood, Jr., a Minor Child/ the injured party for his benefit while he remains in critical condition at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.
