Music studio & House Robbery
Hi everyone, my name's Tugkan im a music producer/DJ also a graphic designer and im Studying a BA in Music Production in Bristol. On friday the 13th May 2016, mine and my girlfriends apartment was burgaled. It was the first night i had left the apartment since moving in just 2 weeks before.
They took £11,000 worth of Music production equipment, laptops, cameras and dj equipment but most importantly they have taken away 10 years worth of my music productions and my whole portfolio of work for design. I have no evidence of any music i have made now or any design work that i have created as they also stole the 3 back up external hard drives. I have lost everything.
I had a few gigs on the pipeline but i have lost all my music collection that i have built for djing, I had a remix i was working on for a producer and also 5 other complete EP's that i was planning to release this year. Now this is all on hold until i can afford to rebuild a studio with the basics to get me back on my feet.
All money that's kindly donated will be used to buy another laptop and the essential's i need to get producing again. This will be the initial £2500 i would need to get up and running and anything over will help me replace other items that were stolen from my house.
This literally means the world to me as i decided 3 years ago to fully give up my career as a full time designer and to fully pursue my dream as a producer. I live and breathe this path as a producer and now it feels like a massive part of my life has been taken from me.
I cannot describe in words how thankful i will be to gain support to get me back on my feet and to recover some of what i have lost. It will change my life back to where it was and i will have hope again to be able to continue what i do.
