2 years ago, I almost died in a tragic subway accident that left me with a degloved left leg and a two and a half month hospital stay that totaled to $405,000.

At the time of my accident, I was performing standup comedy regularly in New York City at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater as well as taking classes there, having just come off an audition for SNL.

Immediately following my accident, many comedians gathered together to organize benefit shows and raise funds for my quickly increasing medical bills, as I did not have health insurance at that time.

$75,000 was raised and it was a tremendous help to the $405,000 that I encoured during my stay at Bellevue Hospital in New York.

Two years later, after continued intense and painful physical therapy, counseling and daily doctors visits, I am now walking without almost any assistance and am now attempting to regain a new start at a new life. (And obviously, am now fully covered by health insurance.)

I am now asking for your help. It has always been my dream of mine to move to Los Angeles and pursue standup comedy there, as well as write for television and be apart of the industrial creative world that LA has to offer.

After my accident, I was fortunate to meet many people that also live and work in Los Angeles and have successfully formed a network of support there. But as you know, it is a very expensive city to live in.

I plan to seek continued federal and state wide disability services just as I have during my recovery but if any of you have ever lived on goverment funding, you know that it is barely enough to survive. I could really use help with funds for transportation (I won't have a car there, so these funds would be going towards public transit and Uber rides to get to and from performances, doctors appointments, etc.) As well as just helping me to get settled and various things I may need to ensure my comfort there (leg elevated cushions to decrease swelling, bandages, leg wraps, over the counter medicaited ointments and lotions for my leg, etc.)

I want to sincerely thank everyone for your continued love and support and if you donated to my hospital fund two years ago, or attended a benefit show, I am deeply in gratitude of your generosity and hope that karma has and will continue to return the good deed back to you!

Thank you again for your blessing and look out for your good karma! <3

PS —  If comedy does not work out for me in Los Angeles, I plan to become a celebrity life coach, as I believe surviving my subway accident has given me superpowers. So email me and I will give you a free spiritual reading. Goddess bless.
