This family, This man, got some devastating news today. All of his friends, all of his family, and for that matter, everyone that has ever met him knows that TJ is a great person inside and out. One of the best family men that I have ever had the opportunity to meet. TJ has taught all of us so many things just through his actions. A characteristic that it very rare these days.

TJ was diagnosed with lung cancer in December, since that time all of his family and friends have been praying for him. The cancer was removed and TJ has been back to his normal self. And if you know him...... You know he's not the "life of the event" kind of guy. He's the guy that can make anyone smile even at the worst of times. The guy that will help you up, dust you off, and say lets go get'em "kid". He's the person that everyone wants by their side in a battle, and the person that can pick you up and make you smile when you fail.

A few days ago TJ went back for his 6 month check-up...... The "check-up" didn't go as we all had hoped and prayed it would. The cancer has spread to different organs. Treatment options for this type of cancer are very limited. Moffitt Cancer center in Tampa Florida may offer the most hope for one of the best friends and mentors I've ever met.
