West Papua Human Rights Center is dedicated to advocating for Human Rights in West Papua. We firmly believe that the people of West Papua should have the right to self determination and the freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press and freedom of religion. They should be free from government violence, torture and imprisonment. Your donation supports this cause in the following areas;

Trainings for West Papuan activists and journalists on personal safety, nonviolence and civil rights.

Support for legal funds for political prisoners facing the Indonesian courts.

Educational materials for children in West Papua to learn English and learn about their culture and arts.

Publication of stories about Indigenous West Papuans whose stories have been hidden from the world.

Protecting the native lands and rehabilitation from environmental damages in West Papua.

Building public health centers to support Maternal and childhood health in West Papua.

Cover travel expenses for Herman Wainggai’s  speaking engagements focused on raising awareness and educating the United States on the crisis.

Marketing efforts in getting the message out about the crisis and what you can do to help including social media, press, mailings.
