Brycyn Wolfs Medical Bills

Baby Brycyn was diagnosed with Gastroschisis. This is a deformity that starts when a baby is 3-6 weeks gestation. The bowels start to form and purtrude on the outside of the abdominal wall beside the umbilical cord. In the beginning we were told that it was only his intestines that were forming on the outside of his body. As our pregnancy went on we continued to go to Perinatal appointments and leaving in hopes that nothing else will purtrude. Bridgette had to go into an emergency-C section at 34 weeks. Baby Brycyn was born premature with all his bowels outside of his belly.. It ended up being worse than the doctors anticipated. The hole his intestines were coming out of was rapidly closing, causing the bowels to die slowly. Everything was almost naturally amputating which was the worst case scenerio for Baby B's surgeon. Some parts of his intestines started to turn brown and disintegrate while in the uterus, the amniotic fluid he was living in turned brown with his stool and bile (meconium) seeping out. Him breathing in the meconium while still in his mothers belly rose his mortality rate even more. It's a miracle that he is breathing and alive right now. He's currently at the Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital in the NICU/intensive care. Our baby has successfully made it through his 3rd surgery. With light and prayers we hope that Brycyn's 3rd surgery will have been his last. Having had Baby B earlier than expected and his mother having to leave her job has made it tougher on our family financially. Our baby is now being fed 2mls breastmilk every 6 hours.. Brycyns mother will have to exclusively breastfeed him after he is home in a few months. Due to Baby B's condition, formula is not a good option for him. We hope to raise this money to help with remaining hospital bills, and what his mother may need to be able to be there for him full time for a while after he is discharged home. #gastroschisismiracle #yourecominghomesoonbaby #yougotthis #littlefighter <3
