As most of you know - My best friends son, "Christian Morgan" was in a serious crash while racing in The Nationals in Nanaimo, BC this past Saturday. His motorbike landed on his head and chest area doing severe damage to his body. He was life flighted to the Vancouver children's hospital where he has been in a coma ever since. After many attempts, he still is not awake. Please support my go fund me page to help his family with various expenses while Christian recovers in the Vancouver Children's Hospital. Everyone, please send their prayers and positive energy!!

Christian Morgan is home! It's been a quiet homecoming which is what's needed. Unpacked, had dinner and he's been spoiling the puppy and now wiped out. Tomorrow we get in touch with Queen Alexandra and see what the program is going forward. We want to express once again how truly grateful we are to each and every one of you who have shared in this experience along side us. From friends and family that stepped up and helped to those donating that we don't even know. Each of you helped and we can never thank you enough. The motocross community is one very strong family!!!! I would never wish the last 10+ days on anyone but if you are ever in our shoes, being at Childrens Hospital is a true blessing to any family! Amazing, talented, compassionate and caring team....the best ever! Colin Morgan, myself and our family thank you all ❤️

Post from Sarah Morgan - Hi all, I'm waiting at the ferry for Colin Morgan and Owen so the perfect free five minutes for an update on Christian Morgan. One groggy and tired young man he is but some more hurdles were jumped today. Had an upper GI swallow this morning to confirm any esophageal tears have healed themselves and he can start on clear fluids. He has not said very much today and not ready to initiate any conversations or ask questions. Many puzzled and confusing thoughts are definitely weighing on him but he will get there. OT came by earlier, got him to sit up and stand up assisted. I wish I could have taken a picture not only for Christian but for the look on their faces as he slowly stood and towered over them lol. He had a good sleep after that, then some small sips of water and a Popsicle!!! More to come later maybe and tomorrow for sure! Love to everyone following and keeping us in your thoughts xo

Update: Christian has had a crazy busy/restless day. Switched to airbed, chest xray, brain MRI, picc line, new IV lines. During all this restlessness he's opened his eyes on numerous occasions. To top it off his cathedor has been removed, and just recently the staff made the decision to disconnect him from the ventilator. So far so good, he seems way more comfy without having tubes down his throat. Having Sarah (mom) back and hearing her voice too will help.
Update #2 Christian decided to wake up, squeeze my hand and ask for the tube to be removed from his nose... He"s talking to mom right now. Super groggy and fading in and out though... My mind is officially blown. Sarah is too

This news today brought joy to my heart. We went through this with our son's best friend Braydon Stuart 2 1/2 years ago as he was in a comma for a month. Braydon has made a remarkable recovery and we pray that Christian will do the same and continue to make progress. God's hand is at work.
