Help a Bernie Delegate Get To DNC

Hi!  My name is Jeanine Calkin, and I was elected as a pledged delegate for Bernie Sanders for the National Democratic Convention to be held at the end of this July.  I am thrilled to be honored to attend and place my vote for Bernie!

I have been a longtime fan of Bernie going back many years, and have followed his career for a long time.  When he announced he was running, I co-founded the Rhode Island for Bernie Sanders group and have worked every single day to support Bernie in becoming the next President.

This includes many hours with honk & wave events (like the one pictured above from last year), phone banking, and even gave up part of my house to hold the staging location for the campaign in my city.  I have also travelled out of state to canvass when I could.

We were of course thrilled to have Bernie win in our state, and now I could use some help in getting to Philadelphia.  The costs are quite high, and hotel costs alone are expected to be over $1200.  The rest of the money would be used for hotel fees, tolls and gas - and any other expenses.  If I have any money left over, I will donate it to Bernie.
