Mike's recovery fund

This is my husband Mike. He was recently ran over by a drunk driver. He noticed this man was hitting his significant other and intervened. He literally ran my husband over with his truck because my husband was trying to do the right thing. Now, my husband is in the hospital and has no health insurance. We have medical bills and he will not be able to work for a while. My husbands injuries are: A broken scapula, broken colarbone, 6 broken ribs, punctured lung, broken hip, broken pelvis, fractured shin, and bruises and scrapes all over. My husband decided to do the right thing and step up and help this woman and now we don't know what to do. Some will  say he should have just let it go, but that was not how he was raised. He can't just sit by watching a man hit a woman. Please help my husband and our family. We have three children and he was the  one working. Anything is so much appreciated. Even if you can't donate kind words are also very welcome. This is going to be a very long recovery. We are looking at 4-8 months for his recovery and really need your help. Thank you so much!
