Nick Dictakis Memorial Fund
If you knew Nick well, you knew how important his relationship with Zack was to him. Many of us have shared stories on Facebook about Nick showing us videos Zack created, short films he directed and music he played and wrote. With talent like this how can you not be proud? I can remember one day stopping by Nick’s house in Hudson to visit. Nick and I spent hours looking at the short stories and videos that Zack and his friends created. There were so many I lost count but we watched every one of them and laughed hysterically and were in awe of Zack’s talent at such a young age.
It’s our love for Nick and Zack along with the appreciation of Zack’s talent that this Go Fund Me was set up. Nick and Meg want nothing more than to see Zack graduate from college and follow his dreams of one day directing, performing and producing. Both have sacrificed so much to set him on this path. Zack is currently entering his third year at UCONN studying acting and doing very well!
Nick’s recent unemployment and unexpected passing have left many questions around the ability to finance Zack’s college. Let’s do all we can to help relieve some of this burden.
Again - Thank you for all you donations. on behalf of Nick and the family - You are the best friends, coworkers and family he could have asked for.
I am blown away by the generosity of Nick's and my friends and family. Nick adored Zack, wanted nothing but the best for him, and was so proud of his drive and talent. It is a difficult time for our family and the kindness of all of you is just incredible. You are helping to ensure that Zack finishes the degree that Nick was so proud of. I have been out of work for well over a year so this will make a real difference in Zack's life. I am just speechless at how kind people are. We live in a good world. Thank you all and thank you Mark. xoxoxoxoxo
A HUGE thank you to all that were able to donate. I know that Nick would have been very touched by this display of generosity. I know this goes without saying but I still get upset when I look at his picture (It sits on my desk next to the two other men that I miss dearly- my dad and grandfather). Nick was an amazing person and was loved by many. We will miss you and never forget the all good times! Have a drink or two in his honor this 4th, I know we will here at the Magliano's. More than likely he would have been here.
