Thank you for supporting me and the Tallahassee Police Athletic League (TPAL)! I am so excited to have been nominated for Tallahassee Magazine's Top Singles. I've never done anything like this before but so far I am loving it!
The TPAL is a non-profit organization that provides athletic and recreational activities for youth aged 7-17. I've been a volunteer for 16 years and I am always looking for ways to do more and get others involved.
In this league, youth are provided an opportunity to grow under the sustained guidance of dedicated police officers and citizens. Officers instill a respect for and understanding of the role law enforcement officers have in our society and assist youth in developing self-esteem and provide them with the skills they need to help them stay in school. Programs and activities are coordinated to contribute to the development of character, integrity, mental fitness, citizenship, and personal well-being.
My main goal with this fundraiser is to make sure that all children have the opportunity to participate in the TPAL program.
