SEND BEATRICE & DEE TO THE OLYMPICS

Dear friends,
I am beyond excitement and at the same time humbled and thankful that I have qualified for the 2016 OLYMPICS GAMES IN RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL!!!!! This is a goal that not just me, but WE ALL have put in so much work, effort and prayers to see this goal that was just a dream 4 years ago become a reality! The great part about this journey is that not only me, but also one of the runners of Team Kirotshe, Beatrice Kamuchanga has also been selected to represent the D.R. Congo in the 5000m run in Rio!!!! All this is thanks to the support of everyone to Project Kirotshe and we are very very thankful for your support.
Unfortunately with the Congo, trusting their system is never an option. As of now, the Congolese federation are requiring Beatrice to compete in at least 2 races, one in South Africa and the other is not determined yet before Rio. We have to get the passports, which will force us to travel to Kinshasa for at least a week and do other paper works this month. I am not sure what else will come along the way.
All of these expenses are on us.
Once again, I am reaching out to all of you for your support. This means so much to me and I am sure to all of you that I believe the hard work is done already and I want to make sure we do everything required in order to be at the starting line in Rio.
I thank all of you for your support, prayers, encouragemen, belief, love and care you feed into me and the youth of Kirotshe. You inspire us to be better, to work harder and do the impossible. You have made all this for us and we don't know how to ever repay you.
