Hello Everyone,
My name is Bryar Hansen.
I'm currently finishing up my final weeks of my undergraduate career at the University of Minnesota-Rochester where I've spent the past 4 years studying Health Sciences. The next step in my journey is taking me far away from my Midwestern home.
On August 5th of this coming summer, I will be embarking on a 2 month-long volunteer program in Cape Coast, Ghana. I will be spending my time at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital where I get to work alongside medical professionals and take part in one-on-one patient care. I will also have the ability to teach public health and disease prevention at some of the local schools in the coastal community.
With severely high rates of diseases such as malaria, cholera, and tuberculosis, there will be so much to do to help this African community.
I am asking for your help. The program alone costs over $4000 and does not include the cost of airfare.
Even just donating $1 would be greatly appreciated. More than you can imagine.
